Damascus Petrochemical Refinery Company participated in the activities of the 61st session of Damascus International Fair, which was held on the land of the Fairgrounds.

The participation aims to let the visitors get acquainted to the exhibition and those interested in the possibility of treating oil waste and mineral oil waste using modern scientific and chemical methods to rehabilitate them technically and make them economically feasible.

The Refinery’s products are characterized by fitting to international standards, as certified by the Syrian Company for Distribution of Petroleum (SADCOP).

The Refinery’s production capacity exceeds 220,000 barrels annually, or 30% of Syria’s need.

In light of the importance of a clean environment free of waste and pollutants, the exhibition witnessed a distinguished participation of the Green Foundation for Environmental Protection of the refinery, which is concerned with spreading and raising the level of environmental awareness by creating studies and holding lectures, seminars and scientific competitions dedicated to alerting about the dangers of leniency in wasting used oils and waste oil on the environment.

The refinery pavilion at the exhibition witnessed many visits from industrialists, merchants, businessmen, inventors and chemistry students.
